Summary of Services

In the last ten years, Dr. Marilyn M. Irving has served as the principal investigator for more than 30 funded programs and projects. IACES will design and develop special programs related (but not limited) to projects in STEM, Literacy, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs.

 

Below are details of the services Irving and Associates Character Education Services, Inc. provides.

We conduct all the preparation necessary to complete grant proposals, including: 

  • review guidelines for applying and identify all forms and required documents

  • create a checklist identifying all documents needed

  • research topic of the initiative  

  • collect all the data, documents etc. relevant and needed before writing the proposal 

  • write letter of inquiry and write proposal following all guidelines to the letter

  • write concept paper

  • create a calendar or spreadsheet indicating deadlines

  • ​create a detailed budget 

  • submit proposal for critique and feedback 

  • assist in submitting proposal in portal

       (if agreed upon)

  • hold virtual or phone meetings with lead individual on proposed project (if needed)

  • deliver a final product

  • provide individual grant-writing workshops:  $40 per hour

Fee for Writing the Proposal.  

The fee for writing a proposal is as follows: 1/3 of the payment is given up front; 1/3 when the granting agency is selected and the project design is mutually determined, and 1/3 when the proposal is submitted to the granting agency. 

 

Fee is not contingent on funding.

If the proposal is not funded the first time around, it can be re-submitted or re-purposed with revisions based on the comments received from the granting agency. The re-submission or re-purposing of a proposal will be done one time without additional fees.
